Dipping a toe into big change

During their sessions my clients often voice their frustrations at work.  There seems to be an increasing drive for people to change what they do so that their lives and work are more integrated.  I am lucky to do a job that I love, and I wanted to share five resources that have helped me along the way. I believe that a little education and a lot of trust and courage can help you take the leap of faith. 1- 'The Work you were born to do', by Nick Williams is a comprehensive book on the nature of work, and how each of us have a calling.  It's full of wisdom, practical advice and Nick has even created a community called 'Inspired Entrepreneurs".

2- Joanna Martin has a host of resources on http://www.joannamartin.tv about 'lifestyle design', where you choose how you want your life to be.

3- Danielle Marchant is a good friend and coach who has a coaching series called the Big Leap where she holds your hand through the transitions. http://www.enablingevolution.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/12/Big-Leap-E-Book.pdf

4- There is a thriving community of entrepreneurs in London, Melbourne and Sydney thanks to drive of a company called www.entrevo.com.

5- Finally as an osteopath I have to emphasise looking after yourself as you make the changes in your life.  Simplify your commitments, sleep well, eat well and give yourself space to be present.  It will make the bumps of change much smoother.
